Okay this is just some random thoughts that I had while reading the ever wonderful SoGospelNews.com...
After reading the story about Kirk Talley's comeback, I was just wondering about the scenario. I mean I am VERY glad to see Kirk recovering from this whole situation but why did we forgive and welcome Kirk back so quickly in comparison to some past artists? Namely, Michael English. Did he fall any farther than Kirk? Michael English was and is, in my humble opinion, just as talented and anointed of the Lord as Kirk any day of the week. However, when Michael English fell we, for the most part, trampled him underfoot but when Kirk fell, we openly recieved him back. Why the difference? Why did Michael have to work harder than Kirk? Just random thoughts I was having and decided to post. I do ask that if you have any nasty comments to make regarding this topic keep them to yourself.
